Every human struggles and my story is no different than yours. No matter our differing definitions of words like trauma, anxiety, grief, or guilt - life just honestly fucking sucks sometimes. To summarize my own 35+ years (😳) of spiraling, overthinking, sabotaging, and BS beliefs: I thought being stoic meant holding my shit together for my family.
But what it really meant was digging myself into such a deep hole emotionally, I felt like I resented everyone around me and I felt like I hated myself. It was to a point where I avoided even looking in the mirror, and was afraid to be alone with myself and my thoughts, if I'm being totally honest. It wasn't a good place to be. But I couldn't tell anyone...I had to be strong so I could be there for everyone else, so I ignored it. And I know many of you reading this can understand that sense of emptiness and emotional exhaustion.
But, when I couldn't ignore it anymore, I had to get uncomfortably honest with myself. In that, I realized the resentment wasn’t toward the people around me. It was toward me for ignoring what I needed & sabotaging myself. I sat in that trainwreck of a pity party for a while, and then decided to turn the same passion and curiosity I’d always had about the human mind back on myself. What'd I have to lose? I was already at the lowest I'd ever been and I knew these tools worked for others, so at least one should work for me...at least that's what I hoped.
So, I became my own guinea pig. I tested every tool, theory, and “fix-your-life” method I could find...for over twenty years. Professionally and personally. During that I was able to uncover a lot of shit and dig myself out of the hole I was in. But I also had a real aha moment when I got to really assessing the tools I used, and that aha moment is your path to a shift, just like it was mine and every human who has used it since.

The vast majority of the tools we have access to ("SeLf HeLp") are working with the wrong damn part of our brain. They focus on tools and exercises that use logic and willpower to try to force it into compliance. But true (and lasting) change actually happens because your brain accepts it through patterns (consistency), emotion, and imagination - a totally different part of our brain that has ZERO logic. I realized during my research, that once I stopped trying to force my brain to "behave" and started working with how it actually functions and uses its tools, that I stopped spiraling and started to create the mindset I was after. What Makes This Any Different?
Our brains are unbelievably incredible machines that can analyze, dream, remember, and create...but they can also be sneaky little bastards, that sabotage the hell out of you. Knowing its language is the difference between success and failure.
Most self-help books miss that the how matters as much as the what. They throw logic, willpower, and positivity at a system that doesn’t run on any of those things. That’s why so many end up as nightstand décor or dust collectors instead of transformation tools. Here are just 3 of the biggest ways the ShiftKits aren't like anything you've used before:
Reason 1) They’re talking to the wrong part of your brain
Most books aim at your conscious mind which is the logical, planning, “think-it-through” part. But 90–95% of your daily life is run by subconscious patterning: emotion, memory, habit, imagination, and learned safety responses.

And yet, somehow, when we want to improve our lives, it makes sense to ignore the mind that holds all the power for change, and try to "force" the part of our mind that zero influence?
Trying to create change through logic is like trying to tame a lion by talking to its shadow. You're not even communicating with or acknowledging the part in control.
Reason 2) I'm just gonna come out and say it - your brain doesn’t give a shit about your goals. Not even the tiniest bit.
It cares about one thing: keeping you alive.
And if that means making a life out of self-sabotage, anxiety, people-pleasing, doom-scrolling, or dating the same emotionally unavailable asshat in new pants, so be it. If you’ve done it before and survived, your brain stamps it as “safe.” Pretty low damn bar, I know. And that’s part 2 of where your chaos comes from.
Change feels 'unsafe' to your brain, so it drags you back into the same familiar (and 'safe') loops. But your brain measures truth by emotional familiarity instead of facts, so “safe” can look a lot like stuck or a lot like suck.
Either way, if you don't acknowledge and work with the fear is has about change, you're gonna be sitting in the agony you're in because it'd rather sit in familiar suck than risk the unknown.

Reason 3) Patterns. Emotion. Imagination. THAT is what your mind is willing to listen to, and speak FROM, and it's exactly what the ShiftKits and all Your Mind Is Full of Shift products use.

How About Some Real Timelines To Results
