About Cari
I'm just a human trying to human. I've got sh*t just like you do. I also have interests just like you do, and I was lucky enough that my interests (obsession) was in neuroscience, the brain, and human behavior.
Over my 20+ years in the field I've consulted, studied, taught, wrote, lectured, observed, and all of that brought me here. I wanted what I've learned and discovered over this time to be accessible to as many as possible. Doing client sessions limited that because only so many people can afford it, and, I only have so many hours in my day. But books - they're affordable, repeatable, adaptable, and always available.
So, here I am. A mom, wife, dog-loving, Harley-obsessed, mountain-adoring and veteran/military/police focused human who just loves using her knowledge to help people in the most practical, non-bs way.
See, my experience has given me the honor of making a discovery that makes most of today's "self help" tools into the obsolete category and leveling up what's available out there for people looking to make change in their lives. Through study, testing, and experience, I've learned the language that brain responds to and the part of the brain that we need to work with to actually obtain the change you're looking for.
That's the fancy-schmancy version. Below is the real me and pieces of my life. Again, just a real human with real flaws and real interests whose study and experience you can benefit from. You ready for change?!

Most people spend years shaping themselves into whatever keeps other people comfortable. Authenticity means dropping the performance, getting honest about who you are, and building a life that actually fits instead of one that just looks acceptable from the outside.

You can’t change patterns you keep defending, minimizing, or ignoring. Honesty means looking directly at your habits, your reactions, choices, and emotional baggage without turning it into shame or self-punishment. Just real answers so you can finally do something different.

A lot of what people call personality is actually conditioning, fear, avoidance, burnout, or old survival responses running on autopilot. Self-awareness is learning to catch the thought patterns, emotional triggers, and behaviors that quietly keep screwing with your life. Once you can see it clearly, you stop getting dragged around by it.

Waiting until you “feel ready” wastes a stupid amount of time & is unrealistic. Accountability means taking responsibility for your choices, your healing, your behavior, and the direction of your life even when it’s uncomfortable. Just decide that your life matters enough to participate in it fully.
